Calling all photographers, with any kind of camera (yes this includes your phone)! You are invited to come participate in our first Arts Connect Neighbors activity in SE—a photo workshop and walk through the Riverdale campus.
Where: Meet at the big tent (1026 River Ave SE)
When: 3:00pm - 4:30ish
The session will begin with a workshop opportunity hosted by Roanoke Photography Collective—we’ll learn from experienced photographers about cool photog stuff like composition, light, and subject. Then we'll head out into the Riverdale campus to explore and capture aspects that catch your eye!
The event will be about 90 minutes, but feel free to stick around afterwards to connect and mingle with new and old photographer friends. (We can move inside if it's chilly or dark.)

Ever wanted to cover up a concrete wall with your creativity?! Riverdale's got a place for that - join us!
The Free Wall canvas is the concrete base of "Building 3" upon entering Riverdale Village. The opportunity to paint and create on the concrete base will be open for 90 days and starts on Sunday, October 6th, from 1:00-3:00p
Free Wall Simple Guidelines:
NO hate, politics, or obscenities
Latex wall paint or spray paint only please
Respect the property by keeping it clean and tidy Daylight hours only (6 a.m. to 9 p.m.)
